The Kenya Film Commission participated in the mobile screening events held Kibera, Mathare and Kangemi between 24th October and 31st October, 2008.

The commission was instrumental in facilitating this event by providing a channel for the audience in these places, to come face to face with our locally produced films. This was done in conjunction with the Kenya Film Corporation and Sky projectors who provided the channel for screening as well as public communication system.

The event was held everyday for seven days from 24th to 31st October to a wide range of people within these informal settlements and an estimated population of 20,000 people was reached every day of the seven days screenings at each venue.
